Rainbow Elephant

I am a rainbow elephant
I am so darn intelligent
sophisticated, gentle, yes
well, all of that is evident

I am so much more elegant
quintuple in my eloquence
to that of lowly elephants
without my rainbow skin

You have to pity them, the beasts
those pachyderms, so drab, so gris
but only to a point, you see
for if you're gray outside, well then

you must be gray within
